Chamber of Commerce Ribbon-Cutting Invite

Thursday, Aug. 10, 5-7 p.m.

Dolores Street, Carmel-By-The-Sea (between Ami and Toro Sushi)

Join us for a momentous occasion as we cordially invite you to the ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with Carmel Chamber of Commerce and Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate the launch of two unique art galleries in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

On Thursday, Aug. 10 (5-7 p.m.), witness the transformation of Carmel's iconic Gallerie Amsterdam and Frame Shop into the visionary spaces of Nematic Gallery and Daisy Rose Gallery, where owners Craig Gross and Daisy Rose promise to redefine art, its perception, and the way it is sold.

At Nematic Gallery, we believe in the power of giving back, and for our grand opening, we proudly support the following five exceptional nonprofit organizations: Transcendental Meditation Center in Carmel; Operation Underground Railroad; Decriminalize Nature; the Dream Machine Foundation; and Mermans 'Mofaya' Mosengo's School of Music in the Congo. With every unique art installation we curate at Nematic, we contribute 2.2% percent of our profits to these important causes, making a positive impact in their respective areas.

Be part of the first-of-its-kind exhibition on the Monterey Peninsula as we partner exclusively with the renowned NFT platform MakersPlace. This extraordinary showcase will present a harmonious fusion of digitally created masterpieces, breathtaking sculptures, captivating paintings, and more, pushing the boundaries of creativity and consciousness.

Moreover, on this special occasion, we are thrilled to announce that Mermans 'Mofaya' Mosengo will be performing live music at the event, adding his soulful melodies to the celebration. Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience his inspirational talent firsthand.

Meanwhile, at Daisy Rose Gallery, the divine feminine will take center stage, honoring the power, resilience, and creative energy of women. Inspired by the indomitable spirit of Daisy Rose herself, this gallery offers an extraordinary exploration of art, healing, and empowerment.

Indulge in delightful drinks, savor small bites, immerse in soulful music, and have the opportunity to meet some of the artists who will be participating in this groundbreaking exhibition. To RSVP and secure your spot at this momentous event, contact Marci Bracco at marci@thebuzzpr.net.

Don't miss this chance to witness the transformation of Carmel's art scene and be a part of history in the making. We look forward to welcoming you on this journey.

About MakersPlace

MakersPlace is the premier NFT marketplace for digital art. Launched in 2018, MakersPlace utilizes blockchain technology to facilitate the sale of authentic, original digital artwork, ensuring rarity and ownership for both creators and collectors. MakersPlace has emphasized accessibility since its inception and has attracted a large mainstream audience as the first NFT marketplace to accept both cryptocurrency (ETH) and non-cryptocurrency (USD) payments, which it facilitates through crypto wallet and credit card transactions, respectively. MakersPlace helped catapult digital art and NFTs onto the global stage, with the historic sale of Beeple's Everydays: The First 5000 Days for $69.3 million in partnership with Christie's auction house in March 2021 — the record price for any digital artwork. Our mission is simple: to enable a vibrant future for digital creativity.
